Hospital foundation awards scholarships

The Johnson Memorial Hospital Foundation has awarded 39 scholarships totaling $36,750 to Johnson County residents pursuing a career in a health-related field.

The five scholarships available include the Freda P. & Millard R. Montgomery Registered Nursing Scholarship, Katie Robards Memorial Scholarship, Johnson Memorial Hospital Guild High School Health-Related Scholarship, Johnson Memorial Hospital Guild Continuing Education Health-Related Scholarship and the Johnson Memorial Hospital Professional Development Scholarship.

The 2019 recipient of the $1,000 Freda P. & Millard R. Montgomery Registered Nursing Scholarship is Madalyn Cherry of Center Grove High School. 

The Katie Robards Memorial Scholarship awarded $1,000 to 15 students pursuing health careers. They are: Meghan Barber, Greenwood; McKenzie Compton, Indianapolis; Krista Dillman, Martinsville; Hannah Ferguson, Greenwood; Tiffany Houston, Franklin; Grace Hunter, Franklin; Daryn Hyneman, Franklin; Ravneet Kaur, Greenwood; Kaitlyn Link, Trafalgar, Brooke Rogers, Franklin, Brooke Stone, Greenwood; Ashley Talerico, New Whiteland; Kaylin Todor, Trafalgar; Makaila Wilson Landrum, Greenwood and Catherine Wood, Greenwood.

The Johnson Memorial Hospital Guild High School Health Career Scholarship has awarded $1,000 to Grace Hunter, Franklin, Ellie Jarosinski, Bargersville and Ravneet Kaur, Greenwood.

The Johnson Memorial Hospital Guild Continuing Education Health Field Scholarship has awarded $1,000 to Krista Dillman, Martinsville, Brooklynn Phillips, Indianapolis and Lacey Wills, Columbus.
