Hobby Lobby prepares to open in Franklin

A craft and home decoration store is opening this summer in Franklin.

Hobby Lobby Stores, Inc., is set to open a new store in Franklin in late July. Construction is underway on the 54,000 square-foot building formerly occupied by Kroger; located at N. Morton St. and Westview Drive.

The location will bring about 35 to 50 jobs to the community paying $15.70 per hour for full-time and $10.45 per hour for part-time associates.

Store hours will be Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Hobby Lobby stores are closed on Sunday.
