Two local high school percussion groups competed in an international competition over the weekend.
Center Grove’s indoor percussion group placed 12 in World Class at the WGI World Championships in Dayton, Ohio.
Franklin Community High School’s percussion group performed at the competition for the first time in school history, but missed out on advancing to the competition’s semi finals by less than half a point.
