Agriculture outlook dinner planned

People interested in the outlook of farms and agriculture can attend a dinner next month.

Michael Langemeier, a Purdue University agricultural economics professor, will speak at the Johnson County Extension’s agriculture outlook dinner at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the extension office, 484 N. Morton St., Franklin.

Langemeier is expected to address field crop prices for 2019. He will also talk about yields, acreage, economics, land values and the Farm Bill.

The dinner is free, but, attendees are asked to RSVP by e-mailing e-mail [email protected] or calling 317-736-3724. The dinner is limited to the first 40 people.
