Johnson County residents are being asked to donate to the community’s annual Good Cheer Fund, an effort to provide food baskets at Christmastime to 800 families in need.
School children are collecting canned and boxed food for the effort as well.
Monetary donations will be accepted until the end of December. Donations can be mailed to the Daily Journal, P.O. Box 699, Franklin, IN 46131, or dropped off from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the newspaper office at 30 S. Water St., Second floor, Suite A, in Franklin.
