Local families can learn how to keep their babies safe while they are sleeping in a clinic today.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana (RMHCCIN) and Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health are partnering to host free Keeping Families Safe events on safe sleep at 9 a.m. at Gymboree, 1001 N. State Road 135, Greenwood.
Families who attend the Safe Sleep event will learn tips for creating a safe sleep environment for their child. Some of those tips include placing the baby on their back and sharing a bedroom with the parents on a different sleeping surface.
