Congratulations to the Franklin Community Middle School 8th grade football players and coaches for their success as an undefeated team and Mid-State Champions in both 7th and 8th grades! Your hard work made you an exciting team to watch and we are looking forward to your high school years and more success.

The 2018 growing season continued with even more adventures for the Johnson County Garden Club. Again, hearts and flowers to the following that invited us into their gardens or greenhouses, or contributed in some way. Those include: The birdhouses of Bill Larkin; Johnson County Park Purdue Extension-Johnson County; Bill McKnight – The Mad Botanist; Sharon Sorenson – The Bird Lady; Linville Farm; Indy Ukers and Lickety Slick Snowballs.

The Johnson County Garden Club had a busy and active Spring and Summer 2018 thanks to many individuals that welcomed us into their gardens, greenhouses, or contributed in some way to those adventures. These include: Smith’s Country Gardens; Court’s Yard and Greenhouse; gardens of JoEllyn and Michael Lucas, Greg Quagliara, Shirley Toney, Debby and Larry VanLandingham and Sheila and Leighton Turner; Boys and Berry Farm; Jaxson Deno for music in the garden and the  Trafalgar FFA.
