Franklin College names new board chairman

A Chicago resident who has a degree from Franklin College was elected the college’s chairman of the board of trustees.

James V. Due was elected to the top spot of the board in late September.

Due is a 1982 graduate of the college and has served on the board of trustees since 2003. He serves on the college board’s Executive Committee as the chair of finance. He also serves on the Investment, Trusteeship and President’s committees and co-chaired the 2015 Presidential Search Committee. He has bachelor’s degree in business from Franklin College and a master’s degree in business administration from Butler University.

Due is a senior vice president and global head of banking for Northern Trust’s Global Family and Private Investment Office practice. He was formerly an investment banker with William Blair and Co.
