High school athletes do community service

High school runners helped feed the needy in Indianapolis.

Members of the Greenwood Christian Academy High School cross country team volunteered at the Gleaner’s Food Bank.

The students stocked pantry shelves, helped families shop, bagged groceries and carried groceries to cars.

The team helped about 125 people in the three and a half hours they volunteered. Participating members were: Zane Stout, Aden Sloan, Andrew Cruse, Drew Graves, Whitney Smith, Anna Subris and Abby Muck.
