Some Whiteland neighborhoods asked to boil water

Some residents in Whiteland are advised to boil their water after a contractor hit a water main line.

The Town of Whiteland’s Water Works has issued a water boil order for residents that live on the following streets. The order is in place until Friday afternoon. 

  • Main Street east of the railroad tracks
  • North Front Street from Main to Poplar streets
  • Pearl Street from the railroad tracks to Elm Street
  • Boone Street
  • Elm Street
  • North and South State streets
  • Brewer Street
  • Poplar Street
  • Walnut Street
  • Willow Drive

Residents should boil water for at least five minutes. 

The town will do required tests and notify residents when the water is safe.
