Woodmen top Lancers

Maecee Terhune claimed medalist honors with a 40 as Greenwood defeated Edinburgh, 186 to 248, on Tuesday at Valle Vista.

Maura Guilfoy added a 44 for the Woodmen, while Maeci West finished at 47. Morgan Calhoun paced the Lancers with a 51.

Young, Trojans dominate

Lucy Young shot a 33 to help lead Center Grove to an easy victory in a three-way match with North Central and Warren Central at Hickory Stick on Tuesday.

Maddie Heineman (37), Meg Fosnot (39) and Lauren Pagel (40) rounded out the scoring for the Trojans, who totaled 149 to win by 33 strokes.

Cougars win by one

Greenwood Christian edged Southwestern (Shelbyville) on Tuesday, 218 to 219. Sophia Valant was the medalist with a round of 44.

Boys soccer

Trojans claim narrow win

Jack Neal and Nick Shirer each found the net twice in Class 3A No. 3 Center Grove’s 4-3 victory over Pike on Tuesday. Aaron McDaniel had three assists in the win.

Rebels take down Chatard

Robert Thang and Bryan Guerrero each scored as Roncalli topped Bishop Chatard, 2-0, on Tuesday.

Cougars blank Southridge

Cameron Northern and Cassie Bigelow scored to lift Greenwood Christian to a 2-0 victory over Shortridge on Tuesday. Ellie Bigelow made two saves to post the shutout.

Rebels get shut out

Roncalli was beaten by Brebeuf on Tuesday, 4-0.

Trojans steamroll Warriors

Class 4A No. 9 Center Grove had little trouble with Warren Central on Tuesday, rolling to a 25-6, 25-8, 25-9 victory.

Rebels sweep Brebeuf

Roncalli defeated Brebeuf on Tuesday, 25-19, 25-23, 25-18. Grace Hegwood and Elizabeth Eads each had 11 kills in the win, while Elizabeth Origer handed out 34 assists.

Trojans defeat Brebeuf

Center Grove got past Brebeuf on Tuesday, 4-1. Trey Thixton, Mitch Runkle and Mason Runkle claimed the three singles points, while J.T. Embrey and Dhrumil Patel rallied to win a three-set battle at No. 2 doubles.

Rebels shut out Giants

Roncalli swept Ben Davis, 5-0, on Tuesday. Austin Schofield, Tyler Schofield and Sam Limcaco were singles winners for the Rebels, who also got the doubles points at No. 1 (Garrett Meek/Jacob Perez) and No. 2 (Tyler Pollard/Kayden Meek).
