A Center Grove High School graduate is now a recruiter in Indianapolis.
Army Sgt. Charles A. Oeder has arrived for duty as a recruiter with Metro South Recruiting Company, Indianapolis Army Recruiting Battalion, Indiana.
Oeder comes to the Indy East Recruiting Center from Fort Sill, Oklahoma, where he had been serving since 2015 as a team leader and motor sergeant with the 66h Forward Support Company, which included a deployment to Korea. He also served as a recovery specialist while assigned to Fort Hood, Texas, which included a deployment to Afghanistan, and he later deployed to Camp Casey in South Korea.
He graduated from Center Grove in 2010.
