To the editor:
This is in response to Donald Smith’s frequently written letters right out of the liberal playbook. He must work for CNN, the real propaganda machine of the democrats.
Don, you hate President Trump. I get that. But trying to argue that Obama should be credited for this booming economy is not only laughable, but wrong. Eight years of stagnant growth then he leaves his minions to try and save what is left of his failed presidency by trying to give him credit? Remember his infamous ‘what magic wand does he have’ comment? Everybody does. Trump’s magic wand has led to the highest employment participation rate in history and millions off of food stamps and disability.
On the world stage we are not only respected again, but feared. Remember the pallets of cash flown to Iran under the cover of darkness in various currencies? Everybody does. No more bowing to foreign dignitaries. No more slinking off the belly of Air Force One in some foreign land. No more apologizing to the world because we are the greatest nation.
I’m not sure what your definition of great is, but giving Russia 20 percent of our uranium is not it. Your alternative was Clinton, higher taxes and corruption that would still be going unchecked. So Don, I get that it is hard to accept Trump’s victories, but, America is truly great again.
