Man arrested in heroin investigation

A man was arrested after an undercover investigation led to $1,200 worth of heroin.

Ronnell Gillespie, 23, 301 Fry Road, Benton Harbor, Michigan, was arrested on a charge of dealing a narcotic drug and possession of paraphernalia.

Gillespie was arrested after agreeing to sell about a half ounce of heroin for $1,200 at about 4 p.m. Tuesday as part of an undercover investigation by Greenwood police and the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, according to the report.

Gillespie was taken to the Johnson County jail, where he was held on $31,000 bond.
