Southside hospital earn accreditation

Franciscan Health Indianapolis has been re-accredited as a Chest Pain Center with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention by the American College of Cardiology.

The hospital and its Franciscan Health Heart Center team have been awarded re-accreditation for an additional three years, a continuation of an accreditation of the past 12 years. The designation follows rigorous on-site evaluation of the staff’s ability to evaluate, diagnose and treat patients who may be experiencing a heart attack.

Hospitals earning accreditation have streamlined their systems from admission, diagnosis and treatment all the way to appropriate post-discharge care.

Greenwood real estate office earns award

A Greenwood real estate office has been named one of the most productive in the country.

The Rob Campbell Team of RE/MAX Results was a part of “America’s Best Real Estate Professionals,” the newly issued ranking report produced by REAL Trends and sponsored by AdWerx.

REAL Trends America’s Best Real Estate Professionals ranks over 13,800 residential real estate professionals solely based on their excellence in real estate sales during calendar year 2017.

To qualify for inclusion, a real estate team must have closed at least 75 transaction sides or $30 million in sales volume in 2017.

New communication store relocates in Greenwood

A wireless communication store has relocated in Greenwood. 

Round Room LLC has relocated the TCC store in Greenwood. It is now at 8860 S. Emerson Ave.

The company donated $1,500 to the Humane Society of Johnson County during a reopening ceremony.

Local business gives items to patients

Dreyer & Reinbold Subaru donated 80 blankets, 50 arts and crafts kits, and messages of hope for cancer patients to Franciscan Health.

The effort was part of a nationwide initiative through Subaru of America, Inc. and The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Local chamber finalist for statewide award

The Greater Greenwood Chamber has been recognized by the Indiana Chamber Executives Association as one of five finalists for the statewide 2018 Indiana Chamber of the Year.

A panel of five leading chamber professionals located outside of Indiana judged the organization in the areas of leadership and governance, finance, advocacy, membership and programming.

The Greater Greenwood Chamber scored high in all categories, and were strongest in the categories advocacy and leadership and governance.

ICEA also awarded the Greater Greenwood Chamber a 2018 “Excellence in Communications Award” for its “Unexpected Opportunities” messaging campaign. The campaign’s goal was to communicate the value of engaging with the chamber throughout the community.

Southside executive named a fellow

Nanette M. Kelley, system director of operations transformation at Franciscan Health, recently was named a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

To obtain Fellow status, candidates must fulfill multiple requirements, including passing a comprehensive examination, meeting academic and experiential criteria, earning continuing education credits and demonstrating professional/community involvement.

Kelley received her undergraduate degree in business from Butler University, where she also earned a master degree in business administration. She also earned a master of healthcare administration from the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne.
