Meijer, 2390 U.S. 31: Police responded to a theft in progress at 4:12 p.m. Thursday. Two women were reported putting store items into their purses. While searching one of the women’s purses, police also found marijuana, methamphetamine, a syringe and a glass pipe. The woman was arrested.

- Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded to a report of shoplifting at 2:57 p.m. Thursday.
- Walmart, 1133 N. Emerson Ave.: Police responded to a report of shoplifting at 3:09 p.m. Thursday. A man was arrested.
- Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded to a report of shoplifting at 7:18 p.m. Thursday.

600 block of Blue Meadow Drive: Police responded to a report of domestic battery at 11 p.m. Thursday.

5700 block of North Hurricane Road, Whiteland: Police responded to a report of domestic battery at 11:48 a.m. Thursday. A woman reported that her husband was threatening to kill her and her horses. She told police he had left bruises on her arm after grabbing her the day before.
Fraud
- 1600 block of Leerkamp Drive, Franklin: A man reported at 4:44 p.m. Thursday that there were two withdrawals from his bank account that he did not make.
- 4700 block of Old Smith Valley Road, Greenwood: A woman reported at 8:13 p.m. Thursday that four ATM withdrawals from her bank account were not made by her.
