About $1,800 worth of tools were stolen Sunday evening from a house south of Bargersville.
The owner of a home on the 4000 block of West County Road 225 N told police that she saw a gold minivan in the driveway of a home her husband was remodeling about 5:30 p.m. Sunday, a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report said.
The minivan was gone when she and her husband returned to the property a few minutes later, but there were pry marks on the door and about $1,800 worth of tools were missing, a Johnson County Sheriff’s Office report said.
A neighbor who had been walking by the area at the same time told police that he had seen a gold minivan with a handicap license plate traveling west on County Road 150N, the report said.
The sheriff’s office is investigating.
