Elementary school students at a local school want to serve you dinner Friday.
Center Grove Montessori will be hosting their elementary room cook-out from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the school, 1674 W. Smith Valley Road, Greenwood.
The elementary aged children plan, prepare and implement all aspects of this yearly fundraiser, including budgeting, setting a date, planning and shopping for the menu, serving friends, families and community people in a restaurant style setting, record keeping, taking money and reserving and supervising an inflatable.
The menu includes burgers, hotdogs, wings, applesauce, chips, cookies, tea and lemonade. Menu items are priced ala carte, a meal is expected to cost about $5.Â
An inflatable will be on site and children can play in it for an additional cost.
