County residents can dispose of chemicals and paint at at a local tox box.
The Johnson County Tox Box will be open 9 a.m. to noon May 19 at 1051 Hospital Road, Franklin.
The following items are accepted at the Tox Box: household cleaning supplies, yard and pool chemicals, automotive fluids, oil based paint and stain. No latex paint or batteries will be accepted.
The Tox Box is for Johnson County residents only. No businesses, contractors or small quantity generators will be accepted
