Green thumbs can get a start on their garden at an annual plant sale.
The Franklin FFA Alumni plant sale is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 28, May 5 and May 12 and 1 to 4:30 p.m. April 29 and May 6 at the Franklin Community High School greenhouse, 2600 Cumberland Drive, Franklin.
All proceeds help support Franklin FFA Alumni’s Senior Scholarships, as well as career development events and leadership trips for Franklin FFA members.
Flowering baskets, petunias, marigolds, coleus, begonias, geraniums, zinnia, dusty miller, nasturtium and many other annual plants will be for sale.
Vegetables for sale include various kinds of tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, broccoli, cucumbers, eggplant, pumpkins, okra, squash, cantaloupe and watermelon.
