JEFFERSONVILLE, Vt. — Police in Vermont have arrested a woman who they say robbed a bank.

The robbery happened at Union Bank in Jeffersonville on Wednesday morning. Police say the woman handed the teller a note demanding cash. The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police released surveillance images of the suspect. They arrested 36-year-old Jessica Morrill, of Essex, on a robbery charge. Her bail was set at $10,000. She was scheduled to appear in court Thursday. It wasn’t immediately known if she had a lawyer.

Another woman was charged with being an accessory to the robbery.
