Michael Alvey, 63, of Indianapolis, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018.
He was born October 30, 1954 in Greenwood, to the late Thurman and Elizabeth Alvey (Babbitt).
On June 30, 1984, he married his wife of 33 years, Cynthia Alvey, who survives him.
In addition to his wife, Mike is survived by his daughter, Ashley Brunic (Trent); granddaughters, Tatum and Maren Brunic; sister, Judy Patton (Richard) and brother-in-law, Tim Marrero. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ginger Alvey-Marrero; and brother, Thurman Alvey II.
Mike graduated from Greenwood High School in 1972, and attended an apprenticeship at University of Pennsylvania.
He was retired from president and owner of Indiana Automatic Sprinkler and a 42 year member of Union Local No. 669.
Mike was a hard-working family man who enjoyed grilling out and spending time outside by his pond with those closest to him.
