GREENWOOD
Michael A. Poe, 52 of Greenwood, IN. passed away Monday, April 2, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 4, 1965 in Columbus, IN. to Norman J. and Kay A. (Ludington) Poe.
He married Kristin A. (Hunsader) Poe on July 15, 1989 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, she survives. He was a 1983 graduate of Columbus North High School and a 1989 graduate of Purdue University. He had been a human resource manager for several years.
He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He was an exceptional basketball and tennis player. His pride was his son Sam whom he enjoyed fishing with, watching him play football, golfing together and other sports. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to many.
Survivors include his wife Kristin A. (Hunsader) Poe of Greenwood, IN., his son Samuel A. Poe of Greenwood, IN., his parents Norman J. and Kay A. (Ludington) Poe of Columbus, IN., his brother Greg L. Poe (Lynne) of Greenwood, IN., father in law and mother in law David N. and Patricia M. Hunsader of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews.
The Reverend David Blystone will conduct a service Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. Friends may call Friday, April 6, 2018 from 4-8PM at the mortuary and from 12 Noon Saturday till service time.
