LAS VEGAS — Police say a man in his 20s was fatally shot in the parking lot of a southwest Las Vegas fast food restaurant after a fight.

Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Ray Spencer says the shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. on Sunday night.

Spencer told the Las Vegas Review-Journal that the man arrived at the restaurant in a car with two other people and got out to talk to someone in the parking lot over a possible drug deal.

Police say at least one person opened fire and the man was shot several times, dying at the scene.

Officers have not released details about the victim or suspect.
