Beverly J. Bensheimer

FRANKLIN

Beverly J. Bensheimer 73 of Franklin, IN. passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Homeview Health and Rehabilitation Center in Franklin. She was born August 27, 1944 in Morgan County, Indiana. She married Charles “Wayne” Bensheimer on May 22, 1987 in Nineveh, he preceded her on July 4, 2011.

She was a 1962 graduate of Union Township High School. She was a member of the Nineveh Christian Church, Johnson County Antique Machinery Association, and served as a former secretary and director of the Nineveh Conservation District. She had been a sales associate for Dollar General Store and Walmart in Franklin.

Survivors include her daughter Tammy J. Thompson (Grant) of Shelbyville, IN., a son Dwayne A. Hansford (Sandy) of Shelbyville, IN., her mother Lois M. (Noel) Bullock of Franklin, IN., four grandchildren Joseph Hansford (Kelly) of Shelbyville, IN., Brittany Hansford Boyer of Shelbyville, IN., Bruce Thompson (Morgan) of Loveland, OH. and John Thompson of Shelbyville, IN., two great grandchildren Madison and Eljay Hansford, two sisters Deloris Smith (James) of Rushville, IN. and Barbara Keen of Knightstown, IN.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry Bullock and a sister Carolyn Thompson.

The Reverend Tom Knight will conduct a service Saturday at 10AM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. Friends may call Friday from 4-8PM at the mortuary. Burial will be in Nineveh Cemetery.
