A woman was arrested on a drug dealing charge nearly nine years after she was charged.
Laura A. Strickland, 37, Fishers, was charged with dealing in a controlled substance, a felony, in June 2009. She was arrested earlier this month.
Franklin police began an investigation into Strickland after getting information that she was selling drugs, including ecstasy, according to court records.
Police set up three undercover drug deals, buying more than more than $1,300 in ecstasy tablets, according to court records. Strickland told investigators she was getting the drugs from an Indianapolis man, who also printed counterfeit cash.
Strickland, 10475 Alderwood Court, was arrested and taken to the Johnson County jail, where she was released on $20,000 bond.
