Darlene Bryant, 65 of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed on March 19, 2018 at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born January 2, 1953 in Columbus, Indiana. She was the daughter of Arnold and Elizabeth (Mann) Denton. She married Ray Bryant October 25, 1969.
She is survived by her husband, sons, Billy Bryant of Edinburgh, Indiana, Robert (April) Bryant of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Timmy (Jennifer) Bryant of Edinburgh, Indiana, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brothers, Dennis (Mary) Denton of Franklin, Indiana and Randy (Loretta) Denton of Edinburgh, Indiana, sisters, Lois (Harold) Hall of Nineveh, Indiana, Donna Halcomb of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Virginia (Randy) Betts of Princes Lakes, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Charles Denton, Jerry Denton, Steve Denton, and Daniel Denton, sisters, Linda Bryant and Barbara Erlenbush.
She was a member of Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh.
She worked at the former Denton’s Grocery Store in Edinburgh.
She was a great, loving mother who will be missed by us. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, flowers, cooking, and shopping.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 23, 2018 by Reverend Lewis Burton at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh, Indiana. Calling will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM on Thursday, March 22 and from 11:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
