Though no longer with us, Dana’s influence on those who knew her lives on. She was a woman of faith in both word and deed. Her compassion and warmth never failed to bring comfort and joy, even when she herself was facing sorrow or illness. Out of pure love, she put the needs of her family, above her own.

Dana was a woman of great strength and endurance. She had a gift for making each person in her life feel special. She was generous with her affection, leaving you no doubt that you were truly loved. Her smile was luminous, catching and will be greatly missed.

Many fond memories remain, among them: Christmas dinners, her famous pecan pie for dessert; afternoons, sipping hot tea, laughing and sharing memories; and in the last days, holding her hand, words no longer necessary.

To know Dana, was to know love. Love unconditional, pure in it’s intent, and unbroken even in death.
