Mollie Emma (Brown) Ross, 90, passed away on March 11th, 2018 in Franklin.

Mollie was born on July 17th, 1927 in Braodhead, Kentucky to William Marian and Flonnie Mae (Denney) Brown.

Survivors include daughters, Eugenia “Gay” (Noah) Ross-Logsdon and Jody (Lester) Gilman; son, Troy (Vivian) Ross; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Mollie was preceded in passing by her parents; brothers, Nolan Carter Brown, Leman Austen Brown, Roy Kenneth Brown, and Ansel Aubrey Brown; sister, Aurdey Marion (Brown) Payne; and daughter, Gretta Underwood.

Mollie attended Broadhead High School in Kentucky. She retired from Arvin’s Automotive where she worked for 36 years. After retiring she continued to work part time at Don and Dona’s and D&B Laundry, both in Franklin.

She was a lifetime member of Whiteland Church of Christ. She was in leagues for bowling, archery, and fishing.

Rev. Ronnie Hewitt will conduct a celebration of life service on Friday, March 16th at 12:00 p.m. at Whiteland Church of Christ, 625 W. 600 North, New Whiteland, Indiana 46184. Friends may call on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to time of service at the Church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana. Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 North Morton Street, (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin is assisting the family with arrangements.
