University hosting annual college fair

Local high school students and their families can check out dozens of colleges in one place at the annual southside college fair.

The University of Indianapolis is hosting the annual Greater Indianapolis Southside College Fair from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today at the school’s football dome.

This college fair is sponsored by the University of Indianapolis and local high schools in Marion and Johnson counties. It is also sanctioned by the Indiana Association for College Admission Counseling.

Representatives from more than 60 colleges and universities in Indiana and other states will be on hand. During the fair, students and parents will be able to meet with college representatives to gather information and ask questions about admissions, academic programs, scholarships, financial aid, NAIA and NCAA athletics eligibility, and other campus activities.

Students in high school and their parents are encouraged to attend the college fair.
