Center Grove athletes honored
A handful of winter athletes were honored Thursday at Center Grove High School’s Winter Sports Program.
The boys basketball team honored seniors Joey Klaasen, Nate McLain, Noah Gillard and Cam Fresher as captains, while the girls presented senior Cassidy Hardin with the Scholar Athlete Award.
Team MVPs were named in boys and girls swimming (Tony Gipson and Jillian Castor) and wrestling (Gleason Mappes). Julia Rather was honored as the captain of the cheerleading team.
