NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Parts of Tennessee could get clipped by a snowstorm expected to make its way up the East Coast.

The National Weather Service says up to an inch of snow was expected in northeastern Tennessee on Sunday night and early Monday.

The weather service says portions of northcentral Tennessee could also see minor accumulations, while a dusting a possible around Nashville.

The snow wasn’t expected to stick around. Temperatures are forecast to rebound into the 40s by Monday afternoon.
