Janet Vivian (Horton) Simpson, 79, of Greenwood, IN passed away on March 5, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Indianapolis, IN, to the late James T. Horton and Lillian M. (Essig) Horton. Janet lived most of her life in Fort Wayne, IN and was preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard L. Simpson. Janet worked for Scott’s Foods in Fort Wayne for over 25 years. She loved “putting around in the yard”, laughing with her grandson, Evan, and watching “wheel of fortune” and “Jeopardy”. She is survived by her daughter Janene Preston-Cage, (Doug), her beloved grandson, Evan Preston, (Olivia) a sister Terri L Guilfoy, a brother Ronald T. Horton, (Mary) and her loving niece Leslie A. Guilfoy She is preceded in death by her older sister Shirley J. Baysinger. There are no services planned at this time.
