A Friday morning fire damaged a wall in a home on County Road 144 between Franklin and Bargersville.
Firefighters were called to a home in the 700 block of County Road 144 around 7:20 a.m. after residents reported seeing smoke come out of a wall, Bargersville Fire Chief Jason Ramey said.
Firefighters spent about an hour extinguishing the fire, and also tore down the wall behind the fireplace to make sure the fire had been fully put out, Ramey said.
No one was injured by the fire. The residents should still be able to live in the house while repairs are being made, he said.
