NEWARK, Del. — An early morning shooting has left one man dead in Delaware.

The News Journal reports that New Castle County police Master Cpl. Heather Carter says 22-year-old William Laws died at a hospital Friday. Police responding to reports of a shooting found a car with windows shattered by gunfire around 2 a.m. on a suburban street just south of Newark.

No one has been arrested. The investigation is ongoing, and police are offering a $20,000 reward for information.
