Braves earn All-WIC honors
Indian Creek was heavily represented on the all-league teams released by the Western Indiana Conference this week.
The Braves made up the entire all-conference team in girls swimming. Lori McCormick and Bella Ratzlaff were each chosen in four events, and they were joined by teammates Lexi Wilhoit, Lexy Burge, Sam Keymon, Payton Allison, Georgia Crandall and Sierra Bowman.
In boys swimming, Indian Creek filled every spot except for diving. Tucker Brock and Mac Ratzlaff each made it in four events, and the Braves also were represented by Chase Smith, Nolan Reed, Cody Hart, Clay Key and Danny Carlson.
Brad Smith was the coach of the year in both boys and girls swimming.
Indian Creek also had three all-conference wrestlers: Brad Trietsch (138 pounds), Gabe Pitzulo (145) and Grant Goforth (195). Jared DeHart and Zach Pugh were honored in boys basketball, while Addie Rund and Celina McElroy were chosen in girls basketball.
