MILTON, N.H. — Police say they’ve arrested a former New Hampshire high school student after he caused a disturbance in the building, then got in his car and nearly struck its pillars.

Police in Milton tell WMUR-TV the Nute High School went under lockdown for a second time Tuesday after 18-year-old Guerdon Zerbinopoulos entered and refused to leave. The school had a lockdown exercise that morning.

Police said Zerbinopoulos eventually ran out of the building and was locked out. He hit and kicked the building, then got into his car, revved the engine and drove toward the building, but didn’t strike it.

He was charged with criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct. He’s scheduled to be arraigned March 20. It wasn’t immediately known if he had a lawyer. A message was left at a phone number.
