Criminal mischief

  • Franklin Community High School, 2600 Cumberland Road: A woman reported at 6:28 p.m. Sunday that someone broke the tail light out of her van while it was parked at the school.
  • 2800 block of U.S. 31: A woman reported at 1:33 p.m. Saturday that someone damaged her vehicle with a key.

Thefts

  • 1500 block of Franklin Place Court: A man reported at 7:51 a.m. Sunday that someone stole a grill from his property.
  • 1100 block of Northpointe Drive: A man reported at 10:11 a.m. Saturday that he was missing prescription medication that was delivered to his house.

Counterfeiting

Murphy’s Oil, 2121 U.S. 31 North: An employee reported at 9:10 a.m. Saturday that a woman attempted to pay using a fake $100 bill.

Battery

  • 500 block of Cross Wind Drive: Police responded at 8:24 p.m. Sunday to a report of battery. A man was arrested.
  • Shoplifting
  • Walmart, 1133 N. Emerson Avenue: Police responded at 4:57 p.m. Saturday to a report of shoplifting. A woman was issued a summons to appear in court.

Thefts

  • 300 block of Farmhouse Lane: Police responded at 9:24 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft.
  • Olive Garden, 1274 U.S. 31 North: Police responded at 9:18 p.m. Sunday to a report of theft from a vehicle.
  • 1600 block of Lacebark Drive: Police responded at 3:27 p.m. Sunday to a report of a stolen air conditioning unit.
  • 100 block of Suncrest Drive: Police responded at 10:12 a.m. Saturday to a report of a stolen vehicle.
  • 1100 block of Sherman Drive: A woman reported at 11:17 a.m. Saturday that someone stole her Bruno Mars CD from her vehicle.

Battery

  • 1200 block of U.S. 31: Police responded at 9:10 a.m. Saturday to a report of battery. A man was arrested.
  • 2600 block of Grand Fir Drive: Police responded at 8:54 p.m. Sunday to a report of battery.

Johnson County

Property damage

7700 block of S. Nineveh Road, Nineveh: A man reported at 12:36 p.m. Sunday that someone hit the side of a building with a truck and drove away.

Criminal mischief

Smith Valley Community Center, 5144 Russell Lane: Police responded at 10:14 a.m. Saturday to a report of graffiti on the building.
