MISSOULA, Mont. — A clerk and a customer were shot at a Missoula convenience store and police are looking for two suspects.

Missoula police spokesman Travis Welsh says the shooting happened just before 4 a.m. Tuesday at a store near the University of Montana soccer fields.

One man was treated and released from the hospital and was able to give police a description of the suspects. Welsh said he did not know the extent of the injuries suffered by the other man.

Investigators are trying to determine why the shooting occurred. Welsh says reports so far indicate the shooter didn’t make any demands.

One suspect was described as being taller than 6 feet and muscular while the other was shorter and had a gun. Both were wearing dark-colored hoodies.
