WEARE, N.H. — Firefighters in New Hampshire say a house in Weare is a complete loss after a weekend fire.

Fire Lt. Steve Barton says he was driving near the house Sunday when he noticed a large column of smoke. WMUR-TV reports Barton found the house had two cars in the driveway that had caught fire, with flames extending to the home.

By the time the fire department arrived, the fire had spread throughout the house.

Two crews were brought in to fight the fire. The house was empty and officials say the occupants are staying with family in the area.

No injuries were reported. The cause is under investigation but officials say the fire appears to have started in one of the cars.
