A Franklin College graduate has been named to lead Discover Downtown Franklin.
Emily Snyder has been named executive director of the nonprofit that focuses on promoting downtown Franklin, including by hosting multiple events, such as Strawberries on the Square, Smoke on the Square and the annual holiday lighting ceremony.
Snyder was the administrative coordinator for Alpha Xi Delta Fraternity. Snyder served as an intern for Discover Downtown Franklin while she was attending Franklin College.
She replaces Carisa Delph.
