MIDDLETOWN, Del. — A traffic stop has led to drug charges for a Delaware man.

The News Journal of Wilmington reports Delaware State Police found more than 2 grams of marijuana, six bags containing cocaine and nearly half a gram of heroin in the passenger seat holding 53-year-old Dean B. Lloyd. Lloyd, of Middletown, was in a car that was speeding down Sharptown Road on Monday when state police pulled him over.

Police found passenger Lloyd was wanted for failure to pay a fine so he was arrested and the car was searched. Lloyd was charged with possession of marijuana, two counts of possession with intent to deliver and two counts of drug paraphernalia.

He is out on bail. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.
