Carolyn Slevin

FRANKLIN

Carolyn Slevin, 80, passed away on February 28th, 2018 at Otterbein Seniorlife Franklin Community in Franklin, Indiana.

She was born on December 27th, 1937 in Franklin, Indiana to Forrest and Elizabeth Clark.

She married Bob Slevin in 1995. He lovingly survives.

Survivors include sons, Greg Johnson, Steve (Julia) Johnson, Robert William (Paulette) Slevin, Dennis (Diana) Slevin, Darrell (Sue) Slevin; daughters, Laurel Jensen and Holly (Les) Geddes; 24 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by brother, John Clark.

Carolyn was preceded in passing by her parents and brother, David Clark.

Carolyn graduated from Franklin Community High School.

She worked in the banking industry for many years, retiring as the Vice President of Fifth-Third Bank. Carolyn was also the Executive Director of the Franklin Chamber of Commerce.

Carolyn enjoyed the Indiana Pacers. She loved fishing. Carolyn was very active with the American Cancer Society and her sorority, Kappa Kappa Sigma. She was also an active member of Fair Haven Church.

Rev. Jeff Johnson will conduct a Celebration of Carolyn’s life on Monday, March 5th at 10:30AM at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton Street (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends and family may call on Sunday, March 4th from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery.
