EDINBURGH
Max Allen Brand, 83 of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away February 22, 2018 at his residence. He was born October 20, 1934 in Shelby County, Indiana. He was the son of Raymond F. Brand and Annabelle (Smith) Grow. He married Shirley (Hill) Brand December 15, 1989.
He is survived by his wife, son, Raymond Brand of Commiskey, Indiana, daughters, Janice Stephenson of Franklin, Indiana, Teresa L. Richards of Edinburgh, Indiana, and Billie J. (Kevin) Denson of Edinburgh, Indiana, grandchildren, Nikki Tidwell, Billy Ault, Stephanie Randles, Kevin Denson, Jr., and Kasey Denson, several great-grandchildren, and a brother, Gerry (Ellen) Brand of Edinburgh, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Raymond Brand, Jr.
He served in the US Marine Corp and was a life-time member of the VFW. He retired from M Hart Trucking Company as a driver.
He was a NASCAR fan and liked watching wrestling. He enjoyed tinkering with things and eating desserts.
A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM by Reverend Lewis Burton at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh, Indiana.
