Sarah Madeline Kish

GREENWOOD

Sarah Madeline Kish, 17, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018. She was a resident of Greenwood.

She was born November 28, 2000 in Oak Grove Village, IL. She is survived by her mother, Ann (Randall) Smith of Greenwood; father, Erik (Sofia) Kish of Greenwood; brother, Matthew James Kish; and paternal grandmother, Mary Kish.

Sarah was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Patricia Thomson, and James Kish.

Sarah was a junior and honor student at Center Grove High School. She was also a member of student congress, cross country and the track team. Always a very compassionate young woman, Sarah loved children and planned to be a nurse. She enjoyed laughing with her younger brother and found great joy in surprising friends with small, thoughtful gifts.

She was strong, focused and goal-oriented. Sarah loved her golden retriever, Lewis, and spending time on the beach. Her gentleness and genuine kindness shown to all people from all walks of life continues to be cherished.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, 5PM, at the Barn at Bay Horse Inn, 1468 Stones Crossing Road, Greenwood. Visitation hours will take place from 3:30PM until time of service at The Barn.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Johnson County Community Foundation, in memory of Sarah M. Kish, 398 S. Main Street, Franklin, IN 46131.
