ROLLINSFORD, N.H. — Police in New Hampshire say they had to pull out a truck that got stuck under a low-clearance bridge.

Rollinsford Police Chief Robert Ducharme says the driver attempted to pass under the bridge around noon Monday. The Portsmouth Herald reports it took police more than an hour to dislodge the tractor trailer.

Ducharme says the bridge wasn’t damaged and the driver was not injured.

The trailer was detached from the truck’s cab after the crash and required a tow.
