EDINBURGH
Alma Giles, 70, of Edinburgh, passed away February 18, 2018 at her residence.
She was born December 16, 1947 in Two Harbors, Minnesota.
She was the daughter of Ernest H. and Goldie R. (Johns) Bolen.
She married Paul Dale Giles on June 12, 1965. He preceded her in death on February 26, 2014.
She is survived by sons, Gary Giles of Columbus, and David Giles and Kevin Giles, both of Edinburgh, daughter, Kimberley Forward of Walbridge, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank R. Johns of Hope and Ernest H. Bolen Jr. of Edinburgh, and a sister, Nancy R. Bolen of Edinburgh.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Was a member of Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh.
She retired from David R. Webb Company after 35 years of service.
She enjoyed spending time and doing activities with her family, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, and cooking.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 by the Rev. Lewis Burton at Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church in Edinburgh. Calling will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20 at the church and from 11 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
