Nancy L. (Farrow) Poynter, 73 of Indianapolis, IN. passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis, IN. She was born January 10, 1945 in Cairo, IL. To Fate and Gladys (Barnwell) Farrow. She married Toby V. Poynter on June 15, 1963 in Kansas City, Missouri, he survives.
She was a loving homemaker. She was a member of Gospel Assembly Church in Indianapolis where she was a member of the church choir. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband Toby V. Poynter of Indianapolis, IN., children Nelson V. Poynter (Chris) of Brown County, IN., Greg A. Poynter (Tammy) of McCordsville, IN., Jeff D. Poynter of Indianapolis, IN., Dawn S. White (Thomas) of Indianapolis, IN., and Toby V. Poynter Jr. of Indianapolis., grandchildren Christopher Poynter (Abby) of Indianapolis, IN., Olivia Gomez (Steven) of Seattle, WA., Jessica Payne (Dallas) of Greenwood, IN., Allison Poynter of Indianapolis, IN., and Clay White of Indianapolis, two great grandchildren Emma Payne and Thomas Joe Payne, and a sister Norma Driver (Gene) of Paducah, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Regina Poynter on July 5, 2005.
