JACKSON, Miss. — A man who was shot inside his vehicle in Mississippi has died from his injuries.

WAPT-TV reports that Jackson Police say 38-year-old Joseph Baker died Wednesday after he was found inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshots wounds. Police arrested a 17-year-old male in connection to the shooting.

Sgt. Roderick Holmes says the teen is charged with accessory before the fact to armed robbery and capital murder. The 20-year-old Orlando Carey was arrested Wednesday afternoon.

Holmes says surveillance from a nearby business helped them identify a vehicle and suspect. Investigators believe the robbery was the motive for the shooting.
