GREENSBORO, N.C. — Police have arrested a man and charged him with shooting and killing a North Carolina teen.

Greensboro Police Lt. Nathaniel Davis told local media that 21-year-old David Lee White Jr. was arrested in Lexington on Tuesday.

Davis said White is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 18-year-old Tyquan Vonricco Washington.

Police found Washington late Tuesday morning suffering from several gunshot wounds. He was taken to a Greensboro hospital where he died.

Davis said Washington and White got into an argument in a home and the dispute moved outside where White shot Washington.

Police do not know why the men were arguing.
